My hubby is out tonight so I'm eating my favorite: popcorn, cheese and beer (shock top tonight)

A homey but yummy meal. Sloppy Joe, carrots, slaw and cottage cheese. A tiny brownie later for a snack.

I've never heard of running them under hot water either. Dirt dessert is a base of Oreo cookies crumbled up with melted butter, a pudding layer of cream cheese & vanilla instant pudding, whipped topping with cookie crumbs sprinkled on top. Some folks put powdered sugar in the pudding base but we find it to sweet that way. The Oreo base looks like dirt I have made it in a new plastic flower pot for carry ins with gummy worms thrown in. Or took it to work in a new kitty litter container using a new pooper scoop to spoon it out with. It was a "gross food" theme carry in we were trying to gross out the guys but didn't work they licked all the platters clean.

Tonight mama was taken care of DD cooked supper. Bacon, scrambled eggs and baked potatoes. I didn't question her combo just thanked her for pampering mom. Perhaps she was going to do french fries but my let's get away from the deep frying OK talk sunk in?

This afternoon, I'm taking the leftover boneless pork chops from breakfast and slice them up and put them alongside a dinner salad. Haven't decided which dressing, probably ranch.
