Yesterday, I had fusilli with pasta sauce, a bit of Asiago, and some basil--and for some reason, it looked REAL good to me on the plate. I don't know why, I usually don't pay that much attention to how it looks.

Pork loin, scalloped potatoes and the most gorgeous fresh asparagus I've ever seen. We're starting Nutrisystem next week, so we'll be saying goodbye to anything good to eat.

So far I have pecan crusted talapia on my mind. I'm not sure what to do for sides yet. Maybe some scalloped potatoes?

My daughter that's coming to visit tomorrow laid claim to the last of the corned beef and cabbage so I got a treat tonight with an all time favorite fried potato sandwiches with red onion and hot pepper rings.
