I've made it with a regular shoulder roast and with tenderloin when it's on sale. They're both delicious, but the loin even more so. It's a nice cut of meat, so some people would not crock it ... it's kind of like making fajitas out of filet mignon.

If you want to roast it, I can recommend a good, gingery teriyaki glaze.
Great idea , I will try it next time. Today I am going to make some foccacia dough and let it rest overnight. I plan to to make asparagus cheese puffs for tonight. I will modify the types of cheese and simply add diced home grown asparagus to this recipe unless someone here steers me elsewhere.

It's pizza night! I'm making sauce with homegrown herbs (basil, parsley, rosemary) and the dough is rising.

Hey everyone hope you are all enjoying your Saturday!

We were in the 80's earlier in the week but it has now cooled down to seasonable temps-mid 60's

Great day for yard work/gardening-My husband completed an awesome dry river bed (well our take on it) had to do it as our neighbors property is higher than ours and we were getting erosion.

Well anyway after a long day tonight is

Pizza
Local frozen pizza for my husband-mushrooms & sausage
Kashi oven roasted veggie-for me
Salad-as always!
