It didn't rain so DH made cheeseburgers and baked beans last night for dinner on the BBQ. I love not only the taste but the ease of dinner clean-up when hubby uses the BBQ but tonight we are sure to have rain--80% chance, so we will have stuffed cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes and cucumber salad. I am so pleased that the Farmers Market is once again open for all the great fresh veggies and fruits!!

Talking Heaven, I'm in heaven...

Roasted stuffed breast of turkey, creamed potatoes, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, cucumber & onion salad, homemade yeast dinner rolls, and green beans seasoned with nitrate free bacon!

It's my son's birthday today, and for dinner he chose turkey meatballs, brown rice, salad and Jell-O with fruit. That reminds me ... have to go make the Jell-O. Angel food cake with whipped cream and strawberries for dessert.

Dens, what is brown chicken stew? Sounds like a very nice dinner.

Ugh..are you trying to kill me, pickle?! What a meal.

I am soo sick. I thought it was allergies all last week but this weekend it grabbed me around the lungs and throat and shook me around real good. Watched a LOT of TV and dozed on the couch. I wouldn't even be at work today if it weren't the 1st business day of the month.

Had DH order pizza for lunch/dinner yesterday. Did manage to get to the kitchen to make some cauliflower-sweet onion soup as a restorative. Grabbed some more spaghetti gravy out of the freezer for tonight's dinner, soup or salad with.

Fried chicken withdrawal is getting serious to I'm firing up the cell phone....Not sure what my odds are but if I'm lucky my wife would rather have deli fried chicken than cooking.
