Well.......it certainly won't be todays' by any stretch of the imagination, I just put the danged things on to boil, but....give me a few days and I'll have one of the best batches of boiled peanuts you have ever tasted!

Well, update here, they are done!! I have a couple of friends coming over, we're gonna sit outside in the shade, eat boiled peanuts and throw things for the dogs to bring back, so we can throw them again. It is almost a perfect fall day, about 70 deg out, nice breeze, sun shine and I just finished mowing the yard, all 2.5 acres of it. Don't know if the dogs like boiled peanuts or not, doesn't really matter, probably won't share with them anyway. I'll give them a LARGE milk-bone each, will keep'em happy. |
