I don't think there's anything "lazy" about it at all It's kind of like driving to a store 20 miles away and having someone call you lazy because you didn't walk there.

Tried the prepackaged once. Just decided it wasn't worth the cost.

I stock up when they have the good stuff on sale. Then I fry up 5 to 6 pounds at a time and freeze it. Then I can pull out a slice or 2 or 3 or 4 when I want it.

I love it especially the convience when I am rushed. When I have time though I do prefer the thick cut pepper bacon.

I agree with this. I know I had it once, and while it's perfectly edible, it isn't really like making it up from scratch. Something missing.

I agree with this too. That's basically the reason I thought to try it. Plus it came with a free dozen eggs.

I will microwave real bacon for 5-6 minutes...
no mess, no hassels, no problem...

Also agree with cooking in the oven...

I've seen this stuff, I thought it was absolutely bizarre. I'd never eat it.
