I don't know if you can get them everywhere, but Best Maid Baby Dills are absolutely the best pickle I've ever tasted. Anybody else every had any of these? I'm not talking about Best Maid Dill Pickles, you have to get "Best Maid Baby Dills." Their regular dill pickles I'm not a big fan of - too sour. Try some of the Baby Dills and you will not regret it. Come back here to thank me!

Try the Best Maid if you can. They are made in Fort Worth - grown in West Texas. I've not had Claussen baby dills and will have to give them a try. I do like Claussen's other pickles better than the other varieties of Best Maid though. Best Maid's regular pickles are too sour tasting for me, but the Baby Dills are perfect; crispy, not to sour, just right. They ran out of them in the store recently and I thought they had discontinued the brand. It turns out that it was out of season and unlike some other brands they didn't have enough in stock. I guess they are pretty popular around here in the Fort Worth area.

are they a refrigerator pickle or are they in the aisle w/ the other pickles (i.e. Vlasic, etc) ?

I just bought 4 jars of Claussen baby dills because they were on sale for $2.50 each.

Debsi, they are in the aisle with the rest of the pickles. Just refrigerate them once you get 'em home. I'll have to check out those Claussen Baby Dills, because I do like the other Claussen varieties. But to date, I've not tasted a better tasting, crisper, fresher pickle than Best Maid Baby Dills. And no, I don't work for Best Maid..

I see that Diamond Dee has had a few!

My aunt in Pittsburgh makes the best bread and butter pickles.

I miss Warsaw Falcon Polish dills. They were the best. Any pickle with the label written in Polish is bound to be delicious!

I have my doubts about this, but I'll try them and report back. I need to start working on those 4 jars though first!

I grew up on Warsaw Falcon. When I realized that stores in Upstate New York were no longer restocking them, I went to every store within 50 miles of Syracuse and bought every jar they had. Now I am down to the last two jars and want to see if they can be bought directly from some factory before opening these last two. Every other brand has disappointed compared with genuine Ogorki Warsaw.

My mother's family were first generation immigrants and the first words I learned to read in Polish were the pickle jar label, though her family rarely spoke English at home.
