If I want to go back to bed, red wine and pizza (classy, I know).

If I want to stay awake, Strawberry Twizzlers in Dr. Pepper (edible straw FTW).

Am I weird? I cannot remember ever waking up hungry in the middle of the night.

It happens occasionally - usually it happens close to my normal wake-up time. I look at the clock and say - Nope! I am not getting up yet. Sometimes it is great to sleep in.

Maybe it's because I tend to eat later in the evening than is normal?
Because I am 55 years old and honestly can't recall ever waking up hungry, and I am an early riser.
Come to think of it I don't wake up hungry in the morning either. Can't stomach food until I've been up for about two hours.

I'll admit, I don't do this often as it usually only happens if I fall asleep on the couch or other non-bed location and I wake up disoriented...and usually I'm much more likely eating to stay awake rather than to go back to sleep.
