Look what I found on ebay! I know, I'm such a dweeb.

It is the exact same counter top broiler my Dad gave me when I moved to my first apartment. It's even the same color (Harvest Gold), in the original box, and has never been used. I used mine all the time to make broiled chops, steaks, chicken, toasted sandwiches, and veggies. Mine eventually wore out due to overuse and moving breakage.

I am so excited! Now I can make myself a small piece of fish and some veggies while hubby and son eat their gravy laden pork chops or whatever. I know I could have used the toaster oven, but I didn't want to mess it up with fish/meat smell and spatter.

My sister is so jealous!

Now you need a Veg-O-Matic from Ronco.

You're just jealous that you don't have one!

My son was quite confused about the fact that there is no on/off switch. "You mean you just pull the plug?"

Cool find! I used to love finding stuff from my childhood on eBay. Mirro is a brand I recognize. I wonder what we had with that name?

I remember Mirro cookware, and love looking for antique/vintage items.

It looks brand new with that nifty vintage label on it too.
