How is it possible to get a USDA Organic Certification in an international farm? I was rummaging through the fruit section at the high-end grocer I occasionally shop at, and they were selling USDA Organic produce made all over the place.
I'm amazed no one responded to this thread. I don't know about the organic certification. I assume that if a grower wants to sell in the U.S., he would have to follow the same process a grower in the States has to. Doesn't matter to me, I don't touch any foreign produce anyway. I saw some gorgeous peaches today in the store but I know perfectly well they came from South America so I walked right on by.
