Do you get a hankering for certain foods come Spring time?

I just had a longing for some fresh greens, so I made a pot of fresh kale, parsley (fresh), chopped garlic sauteed all of this in olive oil and a little water, then added a can of pinto beans, a squeeze of hot pepper sauce and a t. of lemon juice, stirred it all up and simmered for five minutes to heat beans through

Wow! That's just what my body wanted.

How about you?

Any Spring tonic foods or special hankerings?

Spring in south Laouisiana means Crawfish Boil.

Crawfish
Small Red Potatoes
Corn on the cob
Mushrooms
Sausage
Cauliflower
Garlic

After Easter the price of the crawfish will come down and then it is on.

Not spring as much as summer...I'm craving fresh tomatoes, corn on the cob, new potatoes, fresh peas and stuff like that.

I am thinking the very same thing. I would also add fresh peaches and fresh strawberries straight from the vine and tree.
