Steamed crab with garlic butter and lemon.

I adore fried clam strips, too.

I forgot to mention oyster bars. {{{{{...memory flashback...}}}}} My first experience was a couple of decades ago in New Orleans on a hot May day, helping my sister out with her first experience using an expense account.

Hunter Wold, I'm jealous of your experience in the fishing industry. (Not jealous of the labor, but of the seafood. Well, not of the seafood itself--they weren't lucky at all, I guess--but that you got to sample all that freshness over 30 years!)

Same for me-shrimp and scallops also add the best lobster. Fish ,I miss is tuna and boy do I miss steamers!

This is coming from a LI'er (NY) out to the Midwest. Best we have here is Red Lobster. As a treat-a Christmas present to us, we ordered lobster tails from Maine.

Lucky seniors! I had thought the coast of California too expensive for retirement--maybe I should reconsider.
