I think a road trip is now in order for Peso's where I can get real beef burrito. Real meat stuffed to the hilt. I can taste it now. Now ground beef there. No TexMex either. I like TexMex but sometimes ya got to have the real thing.

My wife loves to use fresh ground nixtamal and lard for her masa dough. Then uses a variety of stuffings. My favorite is slow cooked pork chile verde.

I've got a serious problem. This thread has me craving Mexican, another Chinese, another bagels, & another BBQ with slaw. What is a man to do? Abuelos's serves Mexican meals on turkey size platters. They stuff you like a taxidermist. So long since I made a trip to Peso's all I remember is how good the burrito was. Why can't we just graze our way through the day like cows do?

But it would be good cud and not crud as long as we keep it all authentic. I can burp a good taco and then come the various beans....

No sweat here with the hot and spicy Mexican. Prilosec twice daily. If not a plain bagel would turn me into one of the volcanoes. Just imagine the damages a Mexican buffet could do. I really need to take notes next time I get to do the real thing. It's been a couple of months or longer since we dined in style. Maybe they will autograph a menu and let me keep it for reference material if I beg.
