Strictly Poblanos. I don't like peppers in salad, too much texture and flavor conflict. So I only cook with them, and Poblanos are absolutely wonderful for that purpose. Furthermore, they are very often cheaper per pound than bell peppers. Here, anyway. I probably eat 3 or 4 a week.

Any kind of chopped sweet bell pepper is wonderful in pasta salads. I mince some very finely for my traditional macaroni salad too.

Ditto on that. There's a local restaurant near me that makes a shaved rib-eye and roasted poblano pepper baked sandwich. It is absolutely to die for! I want one RIGHT NOW!

It's called The Big Beef Sandwich, towards the bottom:

All of 'em!! Cuz they're so good!! Jalapenos to go with fried chicken. Raw Seranos to eat with deli sandwiches. Bell peppers for everything..Poblanos & Anaheims' for Mex. dishes...banana and .....all for pickling. Yum!! Pepperoncini's (sp) for salads or pizzas or Vlasic pepper rings!!! Wow!! Good in potato salad also!

In chili I use three dried ground peppers, black pepper for flavor and "pepperiness," cayenne for that slow, back of the mouth heat, and ground red peppers (pizza peppers) for sting.

I love stuffed bell peppers and chili releno. In nachos and burritos I like sliced pickled jalapenos.

On deli subs and sandwiches I like either hot or sweet cherry peppers (not both).

jalapenos and all bells except the green ones. for some reason I find them nasty. LOVE eating peppers raw. esp jalapenos.
I tend to shove them in just about any kind of dish. Peppers are the way.

I generally don't care for peppers on my food, but if I had to choose, I'd pick green jalapeno/bell peppers.

Not sure where white pepper comes from, but I love it on my soup!
Vegetable peppers.

Wiki sez white pepper is the black peppercorn without the shells.
