Ive always wanted to try horse meat, I heard it's very good meat and they make horsemeat sausages that are very delicious!

Ive had American Buffalo several times and I think it's over rated, not as good as Beef from cows.

US beef has a better flavor, juicy, tender

Buffalo tends to be a little leaner and chewy not as tender and juicy as beef

I thought we were trying to save the great American horses from slaughter.

Horse meat is delicious , especially the Fillet, like a very lean beef, slightly sweet.

There are still quite a few horse butchers in Italy, France, , Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Hungary, Iceland and many other countries.

Donkey also makes excellent sausages.

Here in South Florida you can buy horsemeat if you know where to go. Last year we had a number of horses--people's pets--slaughtered for meat. (If you were to apply the "third world" epithet to South Florida I would not argue with you.)

I had the opportunity to try it in Europe and wasn't interested. But I do love buffalo! You can't cook it past medium, though, because it's so lean. If you like your steak well-done you shouldn't get buffalo.

Sorry-being a horse lover this is very offensive.I want to save them from slaughter plus a big problem is non performing race horses being sent for slaughter.

Just curious-do you eat cat & dog?? I put horse in the same category. When I had a horse he was so loving-I will not go any further.
