I was going to attempt to make carbonara but it's too late for that. I've been busy putting away veggies for the winter and lost track of time.

Bingo! Just came to me yesterday: Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato Sandwiches.

As usual, I go overboard. BLT's tonight, tomorrow and the next day. And some Tomato Soup.

Probably fresh sourdough bread topped with a wee bit of butter, tomatoe slices, lots of oregano and basil topped with Maasdamer cheese, baked in the oven.
