I voted tea & water from the choices given because that is what I mostly drink. I do also drink lemonade and diet Dr Pepper at times. I don't drink coffee at all.
I drink tea & water, also juice drinks (not proper juice), and occasionally a soda.
I drank black coffee (no add-ins) for a couple years, but that was nearly 20 years ago.
If it's good coffee - from a good farm, a good processor, a good roaster - I'll always drink it black. None of the major supermarket brands qualify the above accounts. I'll avoid crappy coffee (supermarket brands, convenience stores, most restaurants) but when that's unavoidable, I'll add cream.
As a buyer and roaster of premium specialty coffee, this thread rips my heart out. It's like seeing a thread on wine or beer and having most of the replies favoring plonk of undetermined provenance (with Coke added, no less) or Coors Light.
Americans are coffee drinkers and I guess we all have our share of it from day to day. I was wondering how much coffee you drink each day, when you drink it, and how you like coffee? I don’t enjoy strong coffee from Starbucks and the like but I do enjoy a good cup of half decaf and half regular with a vanilla creamer that is sweetened as well. I end up with 3-4 cups in the morning and 1-2 in the evening after dinner. The rest of the day I’m on iced tea if I can get it, or just cold water, NEVER any softdrinks.
I don't really like coffee and I rarely drink it (perhaps a few times a year when I am not at home and socializing with others). I like a watered down chocolate milk in the morning and tea and/or water the rest of the day. I don't usually drink soft drinks either (again a few times a year on special socializing occasions).
I love coffee almost any way, but at home i just use hazelnut creamer. The rest of the day I usually just drink water, occasionally tea (hot or cold). I rarely drink soft drinks now...maybe one with a hamburger once in a while. Speaking of hamburgers, I never understood elderly people who ordered coffee with a hamburger, lol.
