I always check out the mugs, travel mugs, etc, at Coffee Bean. I'm always searching for products that are made in America and are BPA free. A U.S. made, BPA free travel mug or water bottle would quickly catch my attention (even better if it had the business logo and info on it).

I agree with all the food-related ideas (especially the chocolate stuff ). I also love the book idea, of course. And Rainroosty's bird caller would definitely put you on the map.
I know a lot of people are T-shirt (or tank top) fans. If you could produce inexpensive tees or tanks with -- here's the important part -- really catchy phrases on them (that pertain to coffee or the name of your store), I think that could be a score.
If your local (think small, not Starbucks) coffee shop/restaurant carried one inexpensive retail item, what would you buy? (Chocolate, an organic treat, greeting cards, jewelry, funny bumper stickers...?)
No fair getting free marketing advice. Pay for it like everyone else. LOL
