A house-made specialty dessert to go with the coffee. Non-food items would be products advertising the coffee shop.

I always check out the mugs, travel mugs, etc, at Coffee Bean. I'm always searching for products that are made in America and are BPA free. A U.S. made, BPA free travel mug or water bottle would quickly catch my attention (even better if it had the business logo and info on it).

Books would me my ideal thing to be able to buy though probably. A bookstore/coffee house is my ideal place to have a drink...

I can see having a nice place where everyone can drink their nice coffees whilst performing with their wooden bird callers.

I agree with all the food-related ideas (especially the chocolate stuff ). I also love the book idea, of course. And Rainroosty's bird caller would definitely put you on the map.

I know a lot of people are T-shirt (or tank top) fans. If you could produce inexpensive tees or tanks with -- here's the important part -- really catchy phrases on them (that pertain to coffee or the name of your store), I think that could be a score.

No fair getting free marketing advice. Pay for it like everyone else. LOL
MAPS. Always have Maps of the Area at the cash register.
