I think their chocolate bars are just great, too. Time tested and true... !

When I was a little girl, I hated white milk. I still don't like it. But it was important to drink milk because it built bones and whatever other claim of the era. So Grandma would give me what we called "double milk."
It was a glass of milk, with Hershey's on the bottom. If I wanted that chocolately goodness, I had to slurp through the white milk to get to it. Being a stupid kid, it never occurred to me that I could just mix the two and have chocolate milk.
I never learned to like white milk, but I still will drink it if there's Hershey's waiting for me on the bottom

lol! Kids really ARE stupid at some things, huh? When our oldest was little, she'd eat a bite or two and say that she was full. She wasn't, not really, but playing was more important. So we'd poke her tummy with a finger and say "oops! Found an empty spot." She'd respond "E'mpy 'pot? Oh no." and eat a bit more. When we felt she'd consumed enough, there were no more E'mpy 'pots to be found. lol

I was getting the clown top jars, I would guess around 1963 or '64. They were available in the '50's.
