Anyone know what this would be, I saw it on the street the other day and didn't have time to get a snapshot.

Old Bird is almost certainly correct, this is the only "port hole" wagon that I have ever seen.

Sort of a neat car really. For whatever reason I have always liked 2-door wagons.

Yeah that was it, surprised I didn't think of that but I always forget that Pinto ran into 81. Pintos aren't that bad looking and those are a couple of cool retro looking wagons. Pintos like so many other 70s and 80s cars are big enough for a good motor swap too. Alright now since we are on the subject of Pintos, any pics of Pintos on fire or a Pinto with a flame paint job starting at the back?

Considering out of 2 million Pintos produced over a 10 year span, only 27 know fires were reported, it'll be hard to get a picture of one that wasn't started with incendiary devices as part of a study.

Yeah, the fire situation was an overhyped near myth. They were as safe as any other car of their day and didn't catch fire any more often than, say a modern Nissan Maxima. It's easier to find picrtures of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Corvettes on fire.

yeah, cool little cars:

I actually like the little Squire wagons a lot. And you can do a lot of cool upgrades to the drivetrain and suspension, everthing from a turbo 2.3 to big V8s fit in there easy, and there've been a lot of racing suspension parts made, as they were succesful IMSA road racers for quite a while.

My folks had a little '73 like this one:

Though the color was an olive green with the woodgrain, like this BOSS Pinto:

Cleaned up it was a sharp little car. My dad swapped in the 2.3 out of a Euro Capri, added a header and dual webers. Sounded and went quite well.
