Great, nice looking cars. They need a little personal touch, but they look great.

I am a mustang person though (and camaro, cuda, challenger, charger, gto, etc)

They have a certain following, but I have never thought the were as attractive as the earlier Mustangs. Too big and performance was starting to go away after 1970. But if they float your boat..........

I used to feel the same with the 71-73 until I started to look for an older stang. For the most part stang people love the 69-70 Shelby but feel the 71-73 Mustang is to big and they're just about the same size.

This past Feb I picked up my 73 Mach I Tribute (didn't look totally like this when I first got her) and I always get thumbs up. And yes her HP isn't high, but like most people I bought her for cruising, not racing.

i thought they were a tad dull but better than what came in 1974("Mustang Two-boredom zero" was the ad hype)

if you notice in the garage in the movie The Amityville Horror there is a green 73 Mustang parked in the garage

1971-1973 Mustangs would not be my first choice of classic 'Stangs, unless it's a convertible like the one in the picture Camaro69 posted in his message. If I were to get a classic Mustang, my first choice would be a 1967-1970. The ones I would definitely stay away from are the Mustang II generation (1974-1978) and early 3rd generation Mustangs that first came out in the 1979 model year.

I like them, but don't think they look as good as 1964-1970 models. But they are one of the better Mustang generations.

Ha! I was not going to do a web search to find out, I saw the movie when it came out and my buddies and I decided it was an old Mustang and for all these years that's what I thought.

An aussie falcon, well there you go!

Those Mustangs were hideous - I would rather have a Torino w/351C of the same year.

They look like Lincoln/Mercury was trying to design some hip car for the older generation as it surely wasn't a Muskrat.
