Ford all but killed their luxury market with blunder after blunder, culminating with the new Lincoln mkz.
Now it looks like they are on the path to obliterating their sports car line up as well.
This mustang offering is absolutely ugly, with a capital "U".
Change the name of it to Moonstang or something. History repeats itself. They are making it bigger and hanging more junk on it. My brother and I had a '67. I don't need this new junk.
The only retro car I would consider is the Dodge Challenger. The Charger is a joke, a 4 door grocery getter.

Bob.
What happened to your claim that Lincoln was going to shut down at the end of the year?
I am biased as I own a 68 Mustang convertible.
That being said, I don't think Ford has made a good looking Mustang since 1968. The 64-68 model's were unique. I even like the 71-73 model.
The only thing that made the 74-78 evenly reasonable attractive was that Farrah Fawcett and Jacqueline Smith drove them on "Charlie's Angels" (poor Kate Smith got stuck with damn orange Pinto)
Just wait until the aftermarket his this car it will be a hit! There are so many parts to modify the looks and performance is what makes these cars great. If the rumors are true IRS + less weight and more power! wow! High 11 sec/low 12s stock will be the norm.
that's what i'm talking about, cant wait to see the road test results.
I think it will look better from a different angle.
The bottom?
