reminds me of a Maxima front end except with smaller lights. The rear wheel arch from the front angle reminds me of a Camaro. Overall I like it though.

One more thing, replace all the sheet metal with aluminum and you might have a Corvette killer.
The purpose of the back seat is to keep insurance rates down. It is not intended that someone woudl actually sit in those back seats.

Old wives tale.... ins companies dont give a hoot about how many seats. All they care about is satistics which go by make, model name and VIN coding.

Car companies jam small rear seats in some cars because thats exactly what the customer wants/expects even if contained in "x" size package.

my sister and her adult daughter have ridden in the back of our 'stang for a couple hr drive to the coast and were just fine back there. Of course top down cruising may affect one's perception lol, but overall it worked as we needed it to.

Would i want to use a 'stang as a main family hauler esp with car seats? Nope. But considering the # of passengers our previous drop-top allowed for (an s2000), these backseats do the trick when called upon.

Seats in the back help expand the hauling capabilities a little. Especially now with flip down back seats to expand the trunk.

They also allow the car to be more practical as a "commuter" for families since it can haul the kids in a pinch, even if it is not the primary "family car."

I have a two seater car (a 3rd car for the household). My daughter will never get to ride in it, at all, until her 8th birthday.... which also means I can never drive it if I were to have to transport her somewhere (such as two-from daycare, school, etc).

Yeah, the backseats are can definitely come in handy when in a pinch. Just like when I've needed to use the bench seat on my Taurus a couple times lol.

Yes I know that's true. Sports cars are in a higher risk category than sporty cars.
I wonder if the Boss is considered a sports car by the insurance industry since it has no back seat.

I can barely get into the back just to clean the rear window.
