The 351 5.8 liter was a beast. I regret selling that e350 and not pulling the motor.

That's right! That thing is said to be way overbuilt and one of the most durable engines ever produced. The 300ci was put into heavy duty trucks like dump trucks, and is supposed to run forever. The 240ci version is also said to be very good. An inline-6 is very smooth running without extra crap being added to cancel vibrations too.
