My friend (really my friend, not Me) did not pay on her home for over a year. And then one day, she announced on facebook that she needed to move that weekend, a holiday weekend. So, I don't think that it was planned. then, she is living in another home on Facebook page. How would she be able to get into another home? wouldn't her credit (I assume that it's poor) preclude her from getting into another home so soon?
The banks aren't watching anything except their fee income.
If your realtor friend isn't seeing shady deals, insider trading & widespread fraud in short-sales, he / she isn't looking very hard.
i guess she isn't. i was asking her a few things and she mentioned the fraud that she found out about from a client that was trying to buy another home through her. maybe she is just one of the few ethical realtors? she's been really sick so i know she hasn't been selling anything lately. and for a long while she was trying to do short sales with BofA but she finally concluded that they were never approved.
Another example of why people shouldn't use Facebook.
she could easily just be renting. i have a friend in lodi that said her neighbor was foreclosed. and then she thought he bought the same house back for a fraction of the former price. not legally, unless the home was in some other name. or she could have found an owner carry. easy to do where i am now.
