Currently waiting for a response from Chase in regards to our counter offer. They had countered about a month ago and we countered back. They requested additional documents including back hoa fees that the sellers owed. Everything was returned promptly to the bank. They responded quickly in the beginning but after our counter and submitting what they requested, they have not responded for weeks. The seller's RE agent said she was going to try escalate file to chase.
Has anyone been in this situation with escalating a short sale file and had a quick response or positive result?
The words Short sales, banks and quick responses dont belong in the same sentence. Our SS process went on for over 6 months and we we under the gun because we were being relocated and in a time crunch to sell it. We had all our paperwork done and even found the direct numbers to the folks working our file (my husband found this guys name and # somehow on the banks website). Still took over 6 months
