I did a little research on the non for profit it's public info- about being sold to another low income buyer- why buy -rehab and make no money? But this is Fl capital of mtg-fraud- and lots of money laundering schemes. Anyhow my offer was accepted and in process now- and as far as conspiracies- maybe not, but seedy practices yes-

Those investor flippers have been known to approach the homeowners and offer to pay off the debt plus an additional $10-25,000 to them to help move and get a rental. They talk about this being a better option than letting it go to auction where the sale could be less than the balance owed. While this could cost the investor more than the auction price, it keeps them from having to compete against other bidders, gets them into the house to check out the condition ahead of time, and will prevent the owners from the typical vandalism done as revenge on the lender which can cost investors many thousands.
