Hooray! We closed this afternoon. We made our offer the end of April. Actually, we'd been trying to buy a house for a year and nothing seemed to work out for us, but perserverance has finally paid off. We got a great deal and once again we are homeowners. Now for a long weekend of cleaning and prepping for paint.

I am always happy to hear when a short sale closes!

We are finding that they are taking about 6 months to close and only 1 in 4 (in this area) actually closes. I haven't had any buyers patient enought to wait!

Congrats to you on your new home!

Vicki

Congatulations!! It's really neat finally reaching that finish line. It can be frustrating waiting all that time (for agents on both sides and clients).

Now go make it your home!
