Hey Everyone...

My guy, myself and our 3 kids are planning on moving to Colorado after the first of the year once he gets out of the military.....I was wondering if I could get any advice on where a good place anywhere north of Denver would be a good place to go....

I am nurse and will be transferring with my company....and he plans of getting a job with the park ranger service....I have heard that Ft. Collins is a good place to live....but we want to purchase a home and plant some roots....

Any help advice would be great....

thank so much...

Michele

We moved to Colorado from California a little over a year ago. My husband and I have two kids (both under 2). We absolutely love Fort Collins! There are wonderful parks, restaurants, walking/biking trails, "mommy get togethers", fun events, great schools, and the town is lovely, as well. Love it so much here!!

Fort Collins is a good place to put down roots. The school system is very good. There's a lot of classes for younger kids (at the farm, cooking classes, lego builds, etc.) through the Recreator. So even if your kids aren't in school yet, there's lots and lots for them to do. There are also parks, hiking, weekend events, etc. We moved here from San Francisco 11 years ago and have found the people to be really family friendly (as opposed to SF where you were considered a bit crazy and even a bit offensive if you had kids).

Ft Collins or Loveland would work for you, but I would also look at WY.

Ft Collins is a fantastic place to live. Big town with a mid size university that isn't a "party town" per se. Crazy amount of stuff to do and Rocky Mountain National Park is close up in Estes Park. You don't need advice, you just need to move. Everyone is happy there. Good luck!!
