Wow, up to five pages now. And yet this is no big deal.

The sign spinners don't bother anyone or cause problems, they almost always seem to be in a good mood, sometimes they are entertaining, and it helps people earn some extra money. I've never sensed any discomfort or annoyance from any locals about this. People around here are positive, and see all the positive points I just mentioned.

This is completely trivial and a non-issue...

Haha, honestly I commend these people for their dedication to the company. I have a few favorite I see all the time that are excellent dancers. But I agree, they are moving the signs so fast I can never read what they're advertising.

Am I really going to buy/sell gold because you stood outside with a sign for 8 hours in front of your store?

One guy is jerking around so much I was sure his head was going to fall off.

Its just weird.
The point is to make you notice them, which you did. Yes, you likely will buy something. The method works, sometimes VERY well.

Wow..diminishing status of the USA because of an innovative advertising technique? Holy mother of all that is right with the world. How do you sleep at night with so much doom and gloom?
