I had a friend tell me that when she visited the trail was flooded. Was it just that flood season or is it common for it to flood?

Not sure to which trail you are referring. I have never seen the trail through Blevins Park under water. To the west of Blevins, the trail crosses a floodplain just south of Indian Peaks Court.

There is a trail north of Blevins at the corner of Prospect and Taft Hill which runs through an open space that is designed to be a flood retention area, so in a large rain event it is likely to be under water. If this were the case, you could use the sidewalk around it.

Hope this helps,
Mike

I think I understand. What I was concerned with was my child riding his bike on Blevins trail to get to school.
