I see a lot of heavy equipment operator jobs in our area and the Denver area.So I was just wandering if its because they have a hard time finding people to pass a drug test or is their just that much work?

How many people know how to operate heavy equipment? I think I saw where a job core center offered this type of training -other than that where else people would learn this type of skill set?

Despite having legal weed, not everyone here is partaking. Yes, there is that much work. There has been for sometime now to such a point that a number of the small regional community colleges offer certificate programs in it. Although I have seen a fair influx of experienced operators moving in here from the Dakotas this year.

So good operators are hard to come by there then I take it and I can see where my question sounded rude should have worded it differntly.I have been an operator for 10 years and have 16 years in wet utilities construction. was just wandering if the job market was really that strong for operators there cause I heard it was a fight to get a operator job afor a good company . I would love to relocate there

Budget comparisons with where you are now (hourly pay and cost of living) have to be made before any serious relocation here. Also, applying to actual job positions is necessary to gauge the job competition and market here. None of us will know how your credentials will look like in the eyes of employers, and in comparison to others.
