I was wondering what types of public transportation options there are in the Ft. Collins area. I understand there is a bus system...any feedback on that? Is is reliable, safe, cheap? Are the routes large enough and inclusive enough? Does it hit other nearby towns/cities such as Loveland? Any other public transit options in the area? I would appreciate any feedback on this subject, thanks in advance.

Transfort is the name of the bus system, and it's both cheap and safe. As for reliable, it's not all that frequent, except for along the College Road corridor. This makes it good for students, especially, but if you live in the more suburban style neighborhoods in south Fort Collins, you'll never use it.

There is Loveland Service called the FoxTrot that goes between the south transit center and downtown Loveland.
