Am watching ABC News with David Muir right now and they have just shown a, um, well a hell of a funnel cloud with golf ball size hail. They didn't say exactly what part of Weld County it was in.

Whatcha got here Weld County people? BTW, when this aired, Muir said that the video was from just a few minutes ago.

Well, yeah. Another day of hail. It was in Larimer County too. I've never lived in an area with so much friggin hail. One of my vehicles still has the 'battle scars' from a previous bout.

Weld county is the hail capital of North America, Colorado is the tornado capital of the US, why would it surprise people? I grew up in the area and it was just a fact of life, like Hurricanes are in Florida and earthquakes are in California. Most of the storms we get in Colorado, especially in Weld County are not that bad, they do some property damage but few if any people get hurt and most times it is pretty minor damage. Occasionally it is terrible and does major damage and kills people, we just hope for the best when they happen.
