I am considering a job in Sterling and don't want to live in Sterling. Too far from social activities in Greeley and seeing family in Denver. Distance wise it's looking like a 45 minute commute. How's the 76 on being paved from snow in winter?

It's not terrible. Occasionally I-76 will get shut down by a blizzard. You can save yourself 20-30 minutes roundtrip on your commute if you live in Brush instead. If 76 is closed, you can hop on US-6 and go through Atwood, Merino, and Hillrose.

That part of the state doesn't get as much snow as cities closer to the foothills. Might get to see a tornado once in a while, though.

I'm thinking about Brush as well, just there's less rentals.
