Hello Everyone! I am thinking about moving to the Loveland area. I have a possible job opportunity at Medical Center of the Rockies. We are a family of three now, with my husband, myself, and our 6 month old son. Can anyone tell me the makeup of the Loveland community? Young families, retirees, etc... I just want to get a feel for the environment. I am scheduling a visit on August 1, but I know I won't get to see everything.
Also, my husband and I would be looking for a small home, townhome/condo, with less than an acre of land. What would be availble under 300,000.

thanks for anyone who responds!

Loveland might be perfect for you. Its full of young families. There are Tons of homes in your price range. You were not specific on the home, so Ill just go with the price. I lived there for a while, since have moved on to phoenix. Im a snow whimp. Theres a lake in the middle of town, but don't be fooled, you cannot use it, its for the rich bastards that live on it, and them only. Don't buy a home facing North, the snow will never melt on your lawn in the winter. You have lots of strip mall shopping centers, Beautiful Rocky Mountain National park nearby, Lovely Fort Collins, Smelly Greely (it really smells, so don't get to close to the Highway, stay very west of 25). Get a Denver Bronco sticker for your car, and make sure you check out the school ratings...it can make a BIG difference in that town on which school your kid goes to.

Smile thanks

Thanks for the info. We prefer a small home 1500-2000 square feet. Don't need much room. I like more open floor plans, but willing to renovate. Not much into lawn maintainence, so again I would like something small.
