My 6-year-old daughter appears to have a cavity. She is terrified of the dentist and when we have gone before I can't even get her to open her mouth. Does anyone have a pediatric dentist they can recommend that is able to deal with difficult patients?

Thanks in advance.

I have always used Dr Abby Wilentz in Plantation. 954 581 7883. I really liked her a lot. I just got dental insurance for my daughter (finally...she is 11 now!) and Dr Abby does not take her insurance so we go to Dr Heather Hosseini in Weston now. Hosseini is fine, just not pediatric...but my DD is old enough now it is not that big of a deal (although she admitted to me she misses Dr Abby!)

I am sure there are great ped dentists in Weston, hopefully someone will post for you! Good luck!

Our kids have been going to Dr Heilig for almost 10 years. Excellent doctor.
