Two years ago, I participated in the Forum while trying to figure out where to buy a house. I am reporting back that I bought in Rock Creek in Cooper City and am very happy. Although the assessed value has dropped some as have all here, I am glad I bought. It is like an oasis in the middle of a busy city with lots of lakes and walking paths.
I feel safe and comfortable here so I recommend this area for others who are looking for a home.

Couldn't agree more... Cooper City sure is good family neighborhood with excellent schools and low crime rate.

My cousin lives i rock creek and I love it too. Its based on a great walking circle with all sorts of diferent neighborhoods, but all with the same family-friendly feeling. Its nicely shaded and away "from it all" but in the middle of it at the same time. You have every amenity needed at an arms length and great schools. Cant beat that.

I like Rock Creek, but I like Embassy Creek better. To me Embassy Creek truly has everything!

Default What do I like about Rock Creek?

What do I like about Rock Creek? There is a gated entrance North, South, East and West over a large area with thick shrubbery surrounding the complex. Although the "gates" are not functional, it does give a sense of blocking out the surrounding area. Rock Creek is a planned development area mostly dating from 1980's with single family homes, townhouses, apartments and ? Many of the homes have wooden tall privacy and security fences around the owner's part of the land. We have a fence surrounding our large front yard and separately, our back yard that is large enough for amenities.. Between the homes are common elements that are maintained nicely using low HOA fees....this is attractive.
We feel safe and secure and like the house. We walk our dogs very late at night and join others who are walking around the nearby lakes. It is a pretty neighborhood.
