Im a 25 year old male thinking about moving to Ft. Lauderdale.

Ive been to Miami and FTL before, loved FTL, Miami not so much.

I was wondering what communities, THAT ARENT IN THE HOOD, should I look in if Im only looking for a a room, not my own apartment.

It has to be near public transportation also because I wont have a car for the first month.

Thanks!

Public transit is terrible here - there are buses that go up and down Federal and anywhere on Federal in Ftl is probably pretty decent. public transit is much better in Miami

$450? Never heard of anything that cheap, not even in the ghetto. You might need to save some cash before moving here.

Federal = Federal Highway aka US 1. Major north-south street, runs right into downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Check Google Maps or Bing or whatever
