We're looking for a new home after our recent Chinese Drywall debacle. We're looking at gated communities built in the 1990s.

Does anyone have a list of gated communities in the Coral Springs area? I've been looking everywhere online but haven't come across any.

Thanks,

- Frustrated

I know someone in Whispering Woods (off Wiles Rd), Coral Springs & she has been been there 18 yrs.
I also think some of the Parkland communities close to 441 date from the mid to later 90s (ex. Cypress Head).

I lived in a community called Vizcaya at one point. It was gated! (not manned) It was located off of Atlantic and Sawgrass, and the homes were built in the late 90s.

There are several gated neighborhoods in Coral Springs, but the best way to find them is to either contact a realtor, check out a site like realtor.com, or just go do some driving around. Good luck!

Gated never stopped all the crime in my old neighborhood in West Davie. But.....if it does make you feel better then that's good.

Thanks for the help!

I've been doing some of the driving and more online research. I'm posting here a list I've come up with so far in case anyone else needs this information in the future. Not all are from the 90s.

Enjoy!

Coral Springs Communities:
Grand Reserve
Turtle Run
Kensington Green
Eagle Trace
Heron Bay
Whispering Woods
Wyndam Lakes
Mariner's Cove

Coconut Creek Communities:
Hilton Estates
Banyan Trails
Lyons West
Regency Lakes
Winston Park
La Margarita
Crescent Creek
Coconut Pointe
Parkwood
Cocobay
Palm Beach Farms
Lakeview Homes at Centura
Buttonwood Hammocks
Cypress Estates

Feel free to add to the list if you'd like. Thanks again! The search continues! :-)
