Yes indeed, very good area, safe, quite and very short driving distance to restaurants on Federal Highway ( US1 ) like Outback Steakhouse, TGI Friday's, Sette Bello Ristorante, Bonefish Grill, Smokey Bones BBQ & Grill, Michael's Cafe, Red Lobster, Tee Jay Thai Sushi, Bongusto Ristorante, Topanga. On Commercial Boulevard east of Federal Highway there is Dennys Restaurant, Chuck's Steakhouse, Chez Laurent, Ponte Vecchio, Pomodoro, Ratskeller of Fort Lauderdale, Ambry ( excellent german food), Umberto's Restaurante and Pizza, Pomperdale New York Style and Deli, Playoffs, Zuckerello's. On Commercial Boulevard west of Federal Highway and east of Dixie Highway there is Dragon Tea House, Alligator Alley native Florida, Tokyo Japanese, Pizza Hut, Thai Spice, Hiro's Sushi Express, Subway, Flanigan's Seafood Bar and Grill, Chesapeake Bagel Bakery, Boston Market, The Ice Cream Club, Black Pearl Tavern,
MC Donald's and Burguer King. Enjoy your condo and the good food around !

I agree with the realtor, Coral Ridge Isles is a good area by FTL standards (understanding that FTL scores a 5 out of 100 a national crime scale).

Nonetheless, a tip for the "crime" buffs out there. You need to start discriminating between property crime and violent crime like the cops do.

For instance, on one neighborhood crime map, Nurmi Isles shows as a "more crime" area than 56th and Andrews, which is further west of the ocean than where you are looking.

I'm sure you'd much prefer to live in Nurmi Isles any day of the week, but, yes, you would be much more a target for getting something stolen from your garage or lanai.

It's very difficult to accurately respond to inquiries on "safe". Hell, I'm male, 6'4", 210...I suspect I usually feel much safer anywhere in the world than female, 5'4" and 110 in the very same location.
