So we have arrived in South Florida, Cooper City to be exact. Looking for something fun to do with the family, 2 little girls ages 10 & 7. Miami Seaquarium? Are there holiday lights in Ft. Lauderdale? Suggestions please?

Thank you!

Michelle

Smile Holiday lights

Michelle,
The Miami Herald just did an article this week on the holiday lights in Pembroke Pines, Cooper City and SW Fort Lauderdale.

Some in Hollywood too.

Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek has a big drive-through light display.

Gulfstream Park racetrack/mall in Hallandale has a big light show extravaganza on the hour each night.

Wannado City in Sunrise - it's closing Jan. 2 for good, so go now. I've heard kids love it.

Museum of Science & Discovery (non holiday related)

Water Taxi (many houses lit up from back) - once you buy ticket, all day is free (stops at museum mentioned above)

I forgot about the water taxi. Silly me, considering we plan on doing the water taxi one evening this weekend...
