West of the turnpike? That's easy...

1. Lauderhill "Deepside" 56th Ave corridor, by and far.

2. Kimberly Blvd area of North Lauderdale

3. Sherman Circle area of Miramar

4. Downtown Davie, also some parts that are off of Davie Rd extension going into Hollywood

5. Riverside Drive area of Coral Springs

What's the point in this post? If you want hard crime data, there's good stuff per city on City-Data here.

Precisely. Also, just Googling the demographic and the ZIP will get you more info.

I grew up in Downtown Davie and it has become a lot rougher in the last few years, mostly because it's gotten so built up, especially Davie Road/Nova Drive area. Although they have cleared out Palm Nova trailer park and can't build on it because of asbestos, they are planning to build high density condo buildings on Nova Drive, on either side of University, which I'm sure isn't going to help.
