Hi all. I'm young and single looking to possibly relocate in an area close to the airport. I currently reside in the central florida area, so I'm not really that far off. Based on some quick research, I've found that the average price is around $700-$800 which is too much for me to be quite honest. I just got called for a phone interview from down there and would like to be prepared just in case I end up getting this job. About 3 months ago when I applied, I found a place for rent for really cheap and it was right by the beach. It wasn't exactly the best looking place but, my standards are low and it was close to the area I needed. Unfortunately, I no longer have that information with me. Any help would be appreciated.

*I know this may seem pretty unrealistic but, somewhere in the $500 would be nice.

That really is pretty low, I don't know if you'd find anything in that range or not. I lived there and you might find a studio for 650 or so, but 500..I can't say I ever saw anything that low. Good luck on your interview!

I don't think a $500 rent even exists. Do you know of any friends or family you can live with? The cheapest I've seen here is $650 and that is in the projects.

I'm also looking at some apartments in that zip code. Not sure what area that would be called, but how is the area near Hardy Park? Quiet? Ugly? Rent is a little less in that area than other places, so I'm wondering if its because its a bad neighborhood...?
