Yeah, there is this new bus called the 95 Express that takes you to Miami.

Where are you looking to go in both Miami and FTL? Tri-Rail provides links to both and also ties in with Metrorail which then gives you access to more of Miami.

There is bus line #1 that departs from Downtown Fort Lauderdale bus station and takes Federal Highway all the way down to Hollywood, Hallandale and then to Aventura Mall where completes one way ride and then back to Fort Lauderdale. In Aventura Mall people can transfer to other bus lines that takes passengers to Miami Beach and Downtown Miami.

Yes, the Broward County #1 bus would be perfect. Check it out on the Broward County Public Transportation web site. The fare is just $1.75.

The BCt1 to M-DT is a possibility, but it is a loooooonng ride. If possible, transfer to the MDT Biscayne MAX (line 93) at Aventura Mall, will save a few minutes over the 3, which is local all the way to downtown Miami. If you're near Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood, might be worthwhile to take the BCt 7 west to the Amtrak/Tri-Rail station just west of I-95, then transfer either to Tri-Rail or the 95 Express (the latter would be a pain as you would have to cross Hollywood Blvd).

I see they brought the FTL/MIA service back last year. Before Tri-Rail started, MDTA had this for several years. I guess with the HOT/HOV lanes its logistically more doable.

In typical South Florida manner, there is no legitimate way to cross at a regional rail station (Tri Rail and Amtrack) and the last stop of the 95 Express before it gets on the highway... there should really be an overpass there.

Which Ramada? There are 3 or 4 of them in Fort Lauderdale. Your best bet would probably be to take a yellow cab ride to the Tri Rail station and take that down to Miami, and then switch onto the metrorail or vice versa. Just make sure you know which stop you're getting off at or you could wind up in a rough area.
