Yep, and the one time that a municipality actually improves infrastructure before the fact (adding the extra eastbound lane on Pines Blvd from Flamingo Road to east of Palm Ave in anticipation of the Pembroke Pines Town Center), the project for which it was intended (the town center) goes bust.

UPDATE: It appears that two different projects are in play. South on Bass Creek Road, looks like a sound wall is being constructed. North of Bass Creek, it does appear, as another poster mentioned, that they are widening the offramp to Miramar Pkwy (as well as the northbound onramp from Miramar Pkwy).

Seems like it won't be as extensive as it is at Pines. Upside (for me at least), it will make the merge easier to/from the Turnpike Extension to/from I-75.

According to that web site, they are going to put trafic signals to get on/off I-75 on both ends - just like on the Pines exit. Granted traffic is not as bad as Pines but it will slow things down if you want to get off/onto I-75.
