I work near The A1A side of Oakland pk... and I'm either going to be attending FIU or FAU this fall. Looking for a place in between as I love in Boca right now.

Unlike many of the people here looking for places, I want to live where all of the college people live and where all the partying is . Also want to live close to downtown. Another requirement would be some sort of apartment building with a cool balcony, preferably on a higher floor.

Thats about it. I have max $1100 to spend. I heard Port Royale is a good place for what I described, but it's kinda north.

Any thoughts??? Could be in the surrounding area also if I can get more bang for my buck. Whats Wilton Manors like?

With that budget there are plenty of places to consider if you decide to go for a 2 bedroom and live with a roommate. Wilton manors has a high gay population from what I hear, I dont know if thats what you prefer. Otherwise camden las olas is a large apartment complex located downtown and you may be able to get a studio including utilities for 1200. GL let me know if you find anything as I am also looking in that price range

That place looks amazing (in terms of location especially), but I just checked their website and the studios start at $1375...

Either they exaggerate the online prices, or I'd need to find a roommate in their 20's. My roommates right now are moving elsewhere.
