I'm looking for a 2 bedroom apartment very close to the beach. North of Hollywood south of Pompano under $1400 per month that accepts 50. lbs dogs.

Please include apartment complex names if at all possible.

Thanks!

You should be able to find a lot of nice options near the Las Olas , Galt Ocean Mile or the Lauderdale By the Sea areas ... better yet just stick to looking at least one mile east of US-1 near those areas and you will be fine . I have no apartment complex names though .... your best bet is to stop by any 7-11 or Publix supermarket in the Ft.Lauderdale area and grab one of the many real estate , house and apartment hunting magazines or brochures that are there for the taking . I even saw some lovely apartament rentals in the Victoria Park area at the eastern end of Broward Blvd ... I am sure some will allow dogs and are in your price range .

I believe you will enjoy life much more near the ocean in Ft.Lauderdale than in Miami .... Victoria Isles and Coral Ridge are two areas where you should be able to find the rental you are looking for .

I've spent probably 10 days up there in total and like it there better than Miami at many different levels. We were back up there again today and went and got a rental book from Publix. We looked at a few but didn't find anything but we still have months until our lease is up.

We went for a swim and had dinner at Hollywood beach and had another nice day in FTL. It's more to my liking by a mile and where we should have moved in the first place.

I've narrowed my search to these zip codes.

33308
33306
33305
33394
33301
33316
33062
33004

At least that's a start!
