This is sort of a repost.... I have more details. So I have a new job that will require me to travel though out the South Broward co and all of Miami-Dade. I have been looking at maps and Pembroke Pines looks to be a good base. It will be just my wife and I combined income about 90,000. I will most likely have to rent at first then once my wife joins me we will look for something to buy. So any advice on a good safe area to rent a one bedroom or studio apt for 700 to 900 a month with good food and shopping. House hunting will a different post.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Anything around the Pembroke Mall area should be good. Close to shopping, dinning, hospitals etc. For commute you can hop on I-75 or catch turnpike from 57th Ave.

I think a 1 bedroom will be closer to $1000

Good point... most of the decent one bedrooms around there are $1000. Once in a while you do see a 1 bed for $900 but they are usually small/outdated or worse in short sale. I should buy one for investment.... hehe.
