We are moving from NJ to FL (Parkland) in August and was wondering if anyone can recommend a moving company? Also does anyone have an idea of how much it costs to move a 4 bedroom house?
Thanks

Are you looking to move yourself? Cause Penske trucks are great. If you call them up you can usually get them to discount you over their "usual" rate significantly. They don't charge mileage either. Need to think about 2000 maybe could get it for less. Get that good insurance, you will be glad. The earlier you book the better. They will let you change your dates no problem if you need to.

If you need storage, FL can be significantly more expensive for storage costs. I believe this is due to demand and the fact that they have mostly climate controlled units. Gets really hot and humid. Shop around ahead of time. Newer facilities might give you a good price to get themselves to capacity. Good Luck.

I too am making my move, from Philadelphia to Fort Lauderdale. I just booked a moving company and I did so by using uship.com. The website is great...you make a list of what you have and moving companies place bids on your move. You take the bid that you want. The website is driven by user reviews, so you can read up on the company and their previous moves before you book. If you want to know more, send me a message and I can refer you to the one company that I booked. I am able to move down with them for $1200.
